Happy Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year is one of the most important traditional Chinese holidays and among the rich array of auspicious symbolism tied to this celebration there are many associations with various plants, ranging from orange and kumquat trees (Citrus sinensis and Fortunella margarita, respectively) to Tazetta narcissi (Narcissus tazetta) and blossoming peach trees (Prunus persica).
